Issuance of library membership cards

  • Application eligibility : Seoul citizens, workers and students, overseas Koreans and registered foreigners in Seoul

    2. Visit the library or
      Apply for a website mobile library membership card
    3. Issuance of membership cards
    ※ Required documents : ID cards, student ID or youth ID card, domestic residence report cards etc ... Refer to the Gwanak District Integrated Library website

Chaengnarae(interlibrary loan) Service

  • If the books you want are not available at that library, this is a resource-sharing service that allows you to request it from another library within the Gwanak-gu Integrated Library system and use materials across participating libraries.
  • Number of books allowed to checkout : 5 books

U-Library

  • Apply for your desired books via unmanned automatic machines in subway stations and receive books
  • Pick-up Location : Sindaebang Subway Station, Sillim Subway Station, Bongcheon Subway Station, Seoul National University Subway Station, Nakseongdae Subway Station, Dangok Subway Station, Seoul National University Venture Town Subway Station, Gwanak Central Library
  • Number of books allowed to checkout : 5 books

Smart Library

  • Self-service automated machine for borrowing and returning books
  • Installed Locations : Sillim Subway Station exit 1, 2
  • Number of books allowed to checkout : 2 books
